Preparations
- Unpack the Bee Free.
Plugging the Bee Free to Power Source
WARNING
Do not use extension cords.
Using extension cords may result in electric shock.
- Plug the Bee Free plug to a power source.
NOTICE
The LED is lit in blue or red, according to the grid.
Blue- IT grid.
Red- TN-S grid.- The LED indicator is lit in a blinking pattern for two seconds, indicates an initialization process.
NOTICE
When the LED is lit after Two seconds, there is a problem with the grid.
- Press and hold the current selection button for five seconds during the initialization process.
- The Bee Free find the grid.
- The grid selection is saved for future use.
Current Selection
NOTICE
Set the Bee Free charging current to be less than the circuit breaker’s current limit.
Setting a higher charging current may result in damage to the Bee Free, the vehicle and the charger.
- Press the current selection button to select the required charging current, according to the following logic:
• one press – 6 A
• two presses – 10 A
• Three presses – 13 A
• Four presses – 16 A - The LED blinks according to the number of presses, and then lit in green.
- The charging current selection is saved for future chargings.
Vehicle Charging Procedure
WARNING
Visually check the Bee Free for any damages.
Using a damaged cable may result in injury or even death.
- Plug in the Bee Free to the vehicle.
- The LED indicator is lit in orange.
- The vehicle is charging.
WARNING
Do not unplug the charger while charging
- When the charging process is complete, release the latch on the car’s charging port.
- Unplug the charger from the car.
- Close the charging port cover of the car.
- Unplug the charger from the power source.
