Preparations
NOTICE
Pay attention! There is a QR code in the last page of the installation guide.
Save the QR code for Charging Station synchronization in the App.
- Download the EV Meter App from Google Play or Apple App Store.
NOTICE
Kit Unboxing
The kit unboxing is to be performed only by a certified electrician followed by a visual check for any damaged/ broken parts. In case of any damage, contact EV Meter support.
- Unbox the charging station kit.
- Make sure a circuit breaker is installed in the electrical panel, according to the following table:

- Insert the cables from the circuit braker into a flexible 3X8 AWG cable. Make sure the cable’s diameter is 17-18 mm and the cables are long enough to reach the charging station.
- Turn off the charger power using the circuit breaker.
- Using a voltmeter or any equivalent device, make sure that the power to the charger is turned off.
NOTICE
To provide quick power off, in case of emergency or maintenance, install an emergency switch, according to the local regulations and the power input to the charging station.
EV Meter recommend installing an emergency switch specifically for the charging station, next to the charging station.
Installation Overview
CAUTION
Installation Conditions
The installation must be performed in dry conditions.
The installation process includes the following steps:
- Charging Station Wall Mounting Bracket Installation
- Charging Station Mounting
- Electrical panel Power Cable Connection.
- Charging Station Assembly
- Charging Station Synchronization
Charging Station Wall Mounting Bracket Installation
- Place the Charging Station wall mounting bracket on the wall.
- Using a drill, drill three holes aligning with the bores in the Charging Station wall mounting bracket.
- Using a hammer, hammer three dowels into the holes.
- Using a screwdriver, three M10 screws, and nuts, secure the wall mounting bracket.
Charger Mounting
- Open the Charging Station Cover.
NOTICE
Pay attention to the cables connections to the Charger Cover.
Take note of which cable is connected to which connector, to use in the Charger Assembly process.
- Disconnect the cables from the Charging Station Cover.
- Put the Charging Station Cover back in the box.
- Align the sockets on the charger with the anchors on the charger wall mounting bracket.
- Place the charger on the wall mounting bracket.
- Using Phillips screw and Phillips screwdriver, install the screw on the bottom of the charger, to secure the charger to the charger wall mounting bracket.
Electrical Panel Power Cable Connection

Risk of Fire
There is a risk of fire. Do not alter, relocate, drill, or remove any component without consulting with an EV Meter certified team.
CAUTION
Cable Placement
Make sure the cable is not placed in the way of any pedestrians, vehicles, or objects.
- Using a Phillips bit, remove the two screws securing the cable shield at the bottom of the charger.
- Remove the cable shield.
- Remove the cable gasket.
- Insert the Insert the 5X6 mm² cable trough the gasket.
- Insert the 5X6 mm² cable trough the designated socket.
- Make sure the gasket is properly fitted in the socket.
- Using a Phillips bit, unscrew the cable catch screw.
- Using the cable catch, secure the cable.
- Using a Phillips bit, secure the cable catch screw.
- Using an Allen bit, unscrew four M3×10 Allen screws securing the phase connectors’ shield.
- Remover the phase connectors’ shield.
- Connect the 5X6 mm² cable to the charger according to the following diagram and the stickers.
- Install the phase connectors’ shield.
- Using an Allen bit, screw the four M3×10 Allen screws to secure the phase connectors’ shield.
- Install the cable shield.
- Using a Phillips bit, screw two M3×12 Phillips screws to secure the cable shield.
Charging Station Assembly
- Connect the Charging Station cables previously disconnected to the charging station cover according to the note taken in charger mounting process.
CAUTION
Falling Parts
Keep holding in place the Panel Cover until it is fully attached to the Front Panel, to prevent it from falling.
- Place the charging station cover on the charger.
- Using an Allen bit while holding the charging station cover in place with one hand, tighten six M4×10 Allen screws to secure the charging station cover to the charger.
Charger Synchronization
WARNING
Safe Use of the Charger
Do not use the charger if it is cracked, corroded, frayed, broken, or the LED indicates internal error.
WARNING
Charger Purposes
The charger is designed only for electric vehicles that support UL-2594. Do not use it for any other purpose or any other vehicles and objects.
- Power on the charger.
- Make sure the EV Meter logo is lit in blue, to verify electrical integrity.
- In the App, select +.
- Scanning QR code screen is displayed.
- Scan the QR code attached to the supplied quick user guide.
- The charger is synced and ready to charge.
